BendPak Policy Updates - 03/11/2008

 

SANTA PAULA, CA - BendPak continues to be impacted by the volatility in raw material prices, fuel and transportation costs and other increases beyond our control. As a result, future price adjustments will be made on many of our products. Pricing on a selected few items will be lowered. Price adjustments will be effective for orders placed on or after March 17, 2008. Please be aware that our new MRP (Maximum Return Program) also goes into effect 3/15/08.

 

MRP will establish minimum resale prices for all our products – meaning the actual price a consumer pays
for the product, after all discounts. This policy applies to all forms of advertising and selling and introduces
stricter guidelines and will require dealers offering our products on eBay or other auction sites to maintain MRP price levels.

 

You will notice some new models are added to this year’s line up. The "XPR" two-post models and the "HD-14" four-post family; both are expected to be ready for shipment mid April.

 

Here are some of the enhanced product features - XPR Series Two-Posts:

 

  • 3-stage arms – better retraction and versatility for wide body vehicles with dedicated OEM lifting points
  • Newly designed arm restraints
  • Heavier designed carriage for increased strength and durability
  • Heavier designed arms for increased strength and durability
  • Available screw pads / adapters
  • Available frame-cradle pads / adapters
  • Black power-unit tanks

 

Here are some of the enhanced product features - HD-14 Family Four-Posts:

 

  • Increased lifting capacity
  • Safety covers / closeouts on cross tubes
  • Protective steel tubing length optimized to cover a greater percentage of air line
  • Heavier designed runways for increased strength and capacity
  • Heavier designed cross tubes for increased strength and capacity
  • Larger, newly designed hydraulic cylinder for increased capacity
  • Power unit hoses to route through single "flex hose" for cleaner appearance and easier installation

FREE SHIPPING items will be shipped freight prepaid anywhere in the continental United States to direct shipping points within the 48 continental US - any final destination located within a rural shipping area will be charged a RATZ surcharge. Rural Area Transportation Zones are based on transportation lane accessibility and their functional accessibility to major highways and shipping lanes. Transportation and shipping to these remote and rural locations are usually non-direct shipping points with higher associated delivery costs. Refer to the BendPak website in the footer section and use the RATZ search for a listing of Rural Area Transportation Zones. Generally, ZIP codes within a RATZ Surcharge area are very rural and make up a small percentage of the US territory.
