The creation of BendPak / Ranger began back in 1965 with the opening of QMA, Quality Machine & Associates. The new business wholly owned and operated by Don Henthorn quickly gained the reputation as a premier manufacturer specializing in precision machine work and servicing customers like Rocketdyne, Rockwell and Hughes Aircraft. With a superior knowledge of manufacturing and engineering, Don designed and patented many tools later sold and branded for companies like Moog Automotive and Rare Parts Inc. In 1979 BendPak was created as a brand name, for QMA’s newest project, a hydraulic tubing bender designed for muffler shop use.
Since our beginning, we have focused on the auto repair industry introducing new products like car lifts, alignment racks and other specialty products. Ranger Products™ our latest division was created as a brand name for an expanded line of products including floor jacks, wheel balancers, tire changers, hose reels, spray wash cabinets, transmission flush machines and a wide array of shop equipment.
